Marketing Assistant (Online/Offline)

About the Role

Join our marketing team as an intern and help spread the word about ChopBase, ChopQ, and ChopMoni across Nigeria. This role combines digital marketing with on-the-ground outreach, perfect for creative students who want hands-on marketing experience in a fast-growing tech startup.

What You'll Do

• Create engaging content for social media platforms (Instagram, Twitter, TikTok, Facebook)
• Assist with planning and executing marketing campaigns
• Support on-ground marketing activities and vendor outreach events
• Help maintain our brand presence across online and offline channels
• Capture photos and videos for marketing materials
• Assist with influencer partnerships and community management
• Track and report on marketing metrics and campaign performance
• Conduct market research and competitor analysis
• Support the team with various administrative tasks

What We're Looking For

• Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a university program
• Strong understanding of social media platforms and trends
• Creative mindset with good writing and visual skills
• Basic design skills (Canva, Figma, or similar tools)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Self-motivated and able to work independently
• Available for at least 3-6 months
• Based in or able to relocate to Abuja

Nice to Have

• Marketing, Communications, or Business-related coursework
• Experience creating content for brands or personal projects
• Photography or videography skills
• Experience with marketing analytics tools
• Event planning or coordination experience
• Knowledge of the Nigerian food service industry
• Existing social media following or influence
